Not many people can claim that their mom has helped educate thousands of people on the often untold stories of Black Canadians. But Diana Braithwaite’s mom, Rella Braithwaite, was one of a kind. Although Rella passed away in 2019, Diana has continued her mother’s legacy through the Rella Braithwaite Foundation.
