It is with great regret that we announce the passing of
Rella Braithwaite whom the Rella Braithwaite Black History Foundation was named after.
Rella died on July 23rd, 2019 at the age of 96.
Rella was an inspiration, a treasure of wisdom and grace.
We will continue to honour her by sharing stories from her visionary collection, and by presenting new information and creative narratives about Canadian Black History.
